Euro-BioImaging User Forum: Focus on Immunology

The next Euro-BioImaging User Forum “Focus on Immunology” will take place on October 15, from 2-5 pm online. The event will explore how imaging can support immunology research and will feature keynote speakers as well as presentations from Euro-BioImaging Nodes & Users, covering both scientific & technical aspects of Immunology-focussed research projects.

Programme:

This  event will showcase keynote speakers from the biological and biomedical imaging spheres, sharing the most recent advances in Immunology and Inflammation research. The second half of the event will feature presentations from Euro-BioImaging Nodes & Users, covering both scientific & technical aspects of Immunology-focussed research taking place at our Nodes.

Keynote speakers:

• Gilbert Fruhwirt, King’s College London, on "Tracing the magic bullet - Visualising engineered cell-based immunotherapies"
• Thom Sharp, University of Bristol, "In situ structural immunology: Protein structure determination from minimal systems towards whole cells"

Who should attend:

Researchers from both academia or industry, Master’s and PhD students, post-doctoral fellows, anyone handling image data and interested in the potential of biological and biomedical imaging methods to boost research in the fields of inflammation and immunology.
