PHENET Project: Introduction to the Euro-BioImaging community

PHENET is an EU-Funded project where EMPHASIS, AnaEE, eLTER and ELIXIR are joining forces co-developing with a diversity of innovative companies, new tools and methods - meant to contribute to new RI services - for the identification of future-proofed combinations of species, genotypes and management practices in front of the most likely climatic scenarios across Europe.

We will welcome Heba Ibrahim (Forschungszentrum Jülich) who will introduce the Euro-BioImaging community to the PHENET project. The webinar will also feature talks on PHENET use cases by Akos-Etele Csibi (BOKU University) "In-situ soil properties estimation and digital soil mapping with Vis-NIR spectroscopy" and Xavier Draye (Université Catholique de Louvain) "Bringing research infrastructures in farmer’s fields with earth observation services" .

This event will be a great opportunity to connect researchers and bridge gaps between RIs and methodologies. The webinar will also facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas on innovative methods and technologies in plant science, thus driving forward solutions to global agricultural challenges.
