The Euro-BioImaging Hub team was delighted to meet in person with our Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) at EMBL Heidelberg October 8-9. The Euro-BioImaging Scientific Advisory Board is an active part of our governance structure, contributing to the Node selection and evaluation processes, new technology reviews, the overall evaluation of Euro-BioImaging ERIC, and providing important recommendations to the Euro-BioImaging Directorate and Board. We want to thank our SAB members who came from around the world (Australia, Japan, Europe, Canada and the United States), and the members who joined online, for taking the time to attend this important meeting.

What is the Euro-BioImaging SAB and what is its role?

The Euro-BioImaging Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is composed of highly-qualified, internationally-recognized scientific, ethical and technical experts selected on the basis of their competence in all aspects of the activities of the Euro-BioImaging ERIC. Under their watch, our infrastructure has grown significantly, while assuring the highest standards of service for Euro-BioImaging users. Their vigilance and vision helps shape our infrastructure and maintain a competitive edge in the coming years. We really appreciate their comments, feedback and insights on important topics and how to view the future. We are truly grateful for their time and engagement in developing Euro-BioImaging!
